The award-winning chefs from Lily Bistro, Bob Krajewski and Lynette Mosher, are returning to Rockland, Maine to build a local bakery and pizzeria.
HOW CAN I HELP AND/OR JOIN COMMUNITY OVEN?
We are here on Kickstarter for a reason. The good news is that the most expensive part of this endeavor is the oven itself—and we have that!
To build the rest, we need your help!
The space we have found is highly coveted. And though we lost Lily Bistro through no fault of our own, as you know, bank loans are harder than ever to procure these days. So we are turning to the people. We are asking you, our community, to help us.
Take a look at a few of the goodies you can get when donating to our Kickstarter. (If we can find 1000 people who fondly remember Lily Bistro to contribute $50, we’ll be there!) We built a restaurant once from the ground up. We believe that with your help, we can do it again.
Here’s the thing: There isn’t much time. We have less than a month to reach our goal before our space will be offered to another buyer. We know that these are not easy times for most of us—but we also know what community-minded people value.
A restaurant is a place where people come together in a common spirit. If you believe in Community Oven, and wish to help us—and Rockland, Maine—we ask for your support now. We ask you to break bread with us.
A small contribution now will make a huge difference in the years to come.
Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing platform. If we don't reach our funding goal by the deadline, we receive no funds. Zero. If you want to participate, please do so now! All rewards are validated only when we reach our funding goal. If you are interested in crafting a custom reward, please contact Lynette directly at rocklandcsb@gmail.com
